Remember the old Beatles' song, Yesterday? It has a haunting melody and an evocative message. We all pine for a past to which we wish we could return, if only so that we could seize an opportunity that we didn't recognise. Yet it may not be good for us to indulge such yearnings. We can become so caught up in them that we no longer have any constructive energy left with which to tackle the needs of the present. Yet your tomorrows can yet compensate for so many yesterdays - if you now apply your positivity to the present. It isn't just that you now need to be nicer to yourself - or that you deserve this - that this makes sense and is only fair. There is another big reason why you should now be listing your successes and taking pride in your accomplishments. Lately, your acutely analytical mind has assessed a situation and found fault with it. More pointedly, because this is a situation that you have helped to engineer, you have decided that you must have made some great error.
