Will there ever be peace of earth? It seems hard to imagine. That's a lot of grouchy individuals, all agreeing to put aside their differences and forget their resentments, no matter how justified. Yet if we stop to think about whether you and I, as individuals, might become able to make such transcendent choices, it starts to sound a little more feasible. There must be individuals somewhere leading peaceful lives in which they consciously opt to put argument aside 'Keep calm and carry on'. Enjoy life's little moments of joy.Even the strictest parents can accept behaviour from their children that might horrify an observer. Those entrusted with the stewardship of young lives, must allow for behavioural lessons that have yet to be learned, and for intense emotions that the infants still don't know how to disguise politely. Love often makes us forgiving. So too, sadly, does need. You may be tolerating some things  for the most noble of reasons. But  isn't it appropriate now to bravely draw a line and make a stand.
