On the streets of many a city, the rich pass close to the poor. Their feet tread the same ground, they see the same views, they breathe the same air yet their proximity to one another makes no difference to their level of comparative wealth. It is possible, in life, to be extremely close to something that you want but cannot get - just as it is possible to be intensely near to something that you fear yet which really is not likely to happen. But only that latter truism is relevant to you. Don't paint pessimistic pictures.
Some people believe that with enough faith and dedication, you can achieve anything. They are almost right. Some things actually are impossible. It doesn't matter how much wishing you do - or how hard you try. You won't attain success if the objective in question is simply beyond reach. But it is rare for anything ever to be entirely beyond reach. Usually, it's just tricky to reach for and likely to take much time and sacrifice. Much depends, in November, on how much of yourself you are willing to invest in an ambition.
They say, 'You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can't fool all of the people all of the time.' The things they say and the confidence with which they say them. Anyone would think that they knew why they were saying it. But how can they know? They are just guessing. And here's one sure-fire way in which you can keep an infinite number of people eternally fooled. Just fool yourself, good and proper. Better yet, don't do any of that. Just embrace the truth.
