It is hard to make something out of nothing. Yet it is often easy to make something out of next to nothing. It is not just paints, cloths or culinary ingredients that can be cleverly stretched and made more of. Ideas, even arguments can be taken much further, perhaps even too far. What in your life now, appears to have the most substance? Is it really as important, as weighty, as non-negotiable as it seems to be? The power to expand or contract is yours to do with what you will. Use it to help others! Aboard the great ship of confidence, we sail the turbulent sea of uncertainty. All is well until we run on to the Rocks of Reticence. Then the vessel of our self-belief starts to take on the deep water of doubt. Eventually, we leap from the deck of determination into the icy ocean of indecision. It is then that we tend to start clinging like crazy to the life-raft of any passing opinion. If there's a belief that's neither supported by evidence nor even widely shared by other dreamers, you can profit from reviewing it.
