A Mother's Love ,,,,,,, There are times when only a Mother's love Can understand our tears, Can soothe our disappoints And calm all of our fears. There are times when only a Mother's love Can share the joy we feel When something we've dreamed about Quite suddenly is real. There are times when only a Mother's faith Can help us on life's way And inspire in us the confidence We need from day to day. For a Mother's heart and a Mother's faith And a Mother's steadfast love Were fashioned by the Angels And sent from God above. Happy Mother's day to all of you my friends ,,, I thought I would start my speech by addressing you as the “new” family of my daughter. But I think it would be inappropriate because now that she is married, you are “the family” for her. Believe me; I don’t have a problem with that. Now time brings the discovery that you are not alone in your desire to sort out a difficult problem. You have friends in unlikely places. You may not agree with these people about everything - but in one key area, at least, you have a common goal. You won't find this out though, unless you embark on a process of communication. You don't just need to listen to what's being said, you need to ask questions so that you can make sure something actually gets said. Be candid and clear, and you will make great progress.
