WOMEN CAN DO WONDERS
Crisis has a way,a bringing out the best in people . A soothsayer prediction that should one day scale the peak of success come to true. One lady from remote area who could not even speak a word of foreign language,fluent in Marathi only dared to stay back on foreign land with no one to bank upon . Her name was Radha bai, she had five daughters and for this crime she was ill-treated by her in-laws After death of her husband due to poverty she was forced to remarry who had adopted her only two daughters, no choice, she had to accept all for survival.
She moved to london but reduced to become a house-help at the lodging and boarding facility run by her stepson in law, her real wealth was her strength and love for others,being thankful to god. And one day she become the famous name in her business.Her second husband died and she was again ( at the same place) where she was some years ago, but with the help of few boarders she managed to have a house, she bowed her head in prayers with folded hands and tears in eyes and start her life a new.
Her clientele grow to an unimagined extent and people thronged the boarding house to taste her dishes. Her affectionate nature and simplicity charmed the customers,money building and cars followed by her sincere efforts Her meager knowledge of English did not dampen her spirits. And her residence became famous, people from all groups, categories come to taste her food, She built a Sai temple at her residence and it was first Hindu temple in Europe. I read this story and recollect it in my diary and now sharing with you all. Women can do wonders. It is a real life story,many can follow this lady but it needs a lot of efforts and patience.
