The best things in life are worth striving for, waiting for, putting up with a little inconvenience to get. By this, I don't mean to devalue anything that comes your way with ease. If you are being offered something on a plate with no strings attached, you shouldn't turn your nose up at it or even be suspicious of it. But if you have a high aspiration, a deep desire, a brave ambition, it surely deserves your full effort and concentration. It may even warrant a modest degree of sacrifice. That's a small price to pay for success.
