Everything looks difficult when you don't know what it involves. Knowledge isn't just power, it is relief, even peace of mind! Now, I know what you are thinking. 'What if you happen to know for a fact that something really is as difficult as it looks?' Well, even so, at least you know what you are dealing with. The unknown is always more nerve-racking than the known. And the known, if it is really known, is never without hope. There is a world of difference between the difficult and the impossible and that's all you need to remember.
People often stress the importance of the ability to see the wood from the trees. That's always a lot easier if you happen to be up a ladder or travelling over the forest in a small flying machine. When you are right down there in the thick of things, the trees are all that you can see. How can you possibly have any idea how far the wood extends and in which direction? So, how can you apply much-needed perspective and proportion to a situation that currently seems overwhelmingly daunting? You can stand back!
What are you good at? Where have you gained experience? What problem can you probably solve with one hand tied behind your back? It probably isn't always appropriate for an astrologer to encourage his clients to rest on their laurels. But nor can it be right for me to support you in indulging an entirely unnecessary misgiving. You have no real reason to be unsure of yourself or to assume that if you start to proceed in a particular direction, others will try to prevent your progress. Be confident, be yourself and you will be fine.
Habits and attitudes have a lot in common. We tend to slip into them unconsciously. Gradually, they come so naturally to us that we hardly even stop to think about them. And when it comes to changing them? Well, that's so tricky. We have to keep stopping ourselves in our tracks. It all takes a lot of determination but it can be done. Of course, it can be done. There is only one question you have to address now, and that's, 'How much of an effort am I prepared to make?' If you have got the will, the cosmos will show you the way.
