Sometimes, before you can fully appreciate the true value of what's on your doorstep, you have to travel round the world. Does this mean that if you make that journey, then return to celebrate what you used to take for granted, you have wasted your time? Of course not! Some options exist so that they can be explored and embraced. Others exist so that they can be ruled out. Having now investigated several seemingly attractive alternatives, you're almost back where you began. If something isn't working now, there may be a very good reason why. Not a practical reason, not even a sensible reason... but perhaps a cosmic, karmic, spiritual, psychic reason. The kind of reason that seems, at the time, as if it cannot possibly exist. The kind that, in hindsight, makes all the sense in the world'- implies a situation that somehow inhibits, delays or prevents the kind of progress that actually, deep down inside, you really don't want or need! Many people find holidays stressful. They do all the planning, the packing, the getting ready and the covering of responsibilities in their absence. Once they arrive, they have to get used to where they have come to. By the time they settle in, it is time to leave. Some say that life itself is a holiday - a brief vacation from a world that we inhabited before we arrived here, and will return to once we depart. If so, surely it is supposed to be enjoyed! Something in your heart deserves to be celebrated, not carried as a burden!
