It is amazing what we can get used to. Sights that offend our eyes when we first behold them, eventually just become items that we can easily ignore. It's the same with objects of wonder and beauty. If we are not careful, after a while, they just become part of the scenery that we expect to see. So it isn't always good to have so much psychological preparation. We forget the true value and importance of situations that we should always remain sensitive to.Smoking,drinking or gambling was shown in history or in films-   It was the done thing. Accepted practice. Natural behaviour. Actors did it. Politicians too. Even doctors would recommend one brand of tobacco over another. People said, 'We enjoy this. What harm can there be in it?' Oh, how the world has changed. There are still some smokers but none who do not, at least secretly, think perhaps that they ought to stop. Now, what else might it be better for you to have less of in your life? Are you ready to take a big step forward? We do what we see,copy it and it becomes a habit.
