One drop of rain on your window pane, doesn't mean to say there's a thunderstorm coming...' So goes the old 60s pop hit, 'Storm In A Teacup'. It is so true. A few splashes of water from the sky can just as easily signify a light, passing shower. But if we are living in expectation of a deluge, we will take this as confirmation that the time has come to open the ark and start loading on the animals two by two.
