They say that there is an exception to every rule. But how can it be so? That very statement is in itself a rule, so it must have exceptions! Therefore, there are surely some rules to which no exceptions can ever be found. In ways like this, we can all tie ourselves up in knots in the act of striving to free ourselves from the ties that bind us.
