Remember the old song, Why Do Fools Fall In Love? Surely, the answer is contained within the question! It might be more pertinent to ask, 'Why do really smart people fall in love?' Wouldn't we expect them to be wise enough to know better? Not that there is anything foolish about love. Nor that there is anything foolish about the depth and breadth of warmth that has been expressed  you really see why there is nothing foolish about it.You have some memories from long ago that remain so vivid they might as well have happened only yesterday. Now, let us honour the magical memories with an imagination exercise.
Envisage yourself decades hence, looking back over your life. Will those recollections have faded by then? Almost certainly not. You will carry them with you forever. Now, what about the memories that you are due to create magic? Doesn't this make it even more important to do all you can to ensure that they are pleasant? Not that you can tell by just looking at it. The difference, so far, is so subtle, as to be visually imperceptible. For now, we shall have to trust the astronomical mathematicians who tell us that the turning point has come. Now, let us consider the brink of change that you believe yourself to have recently reached. It is still early days. Any evidence is frustratingly flimsy. A feeling is really all that you can go on. But if it is a good feeling, you can trust it
