There is really no shame in saying a polite 'no' once in a while. Let us return to the saying, 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it.' It assumes that somehow we have the ability to establish whether or not something is broken and to decide whether, if it is, we have any ability at all to set it right. Really, the old maxim should say, 'If it ain't broken, first set up a committee and have them meet several time to discuss in great detail the likelihood of something being broken - and then to commission various expensive reports to help them determine this.' Shouldn't it? Don't get lost in a circular argument trust god and go ahead!
