ADD TO SPIRITUAL DIARY
Psychologists believe that they understand how our minds work. By following their favourite theory, they can help us to see how our hidden agendas are subtly shaping our lives. We all tell ourselves one story, yet inwardly, we may be listening to a very different narrative. Only through a conscious effort to reconcile the two, can we hope to evolve and become successful. Or so they say. Actually you will make a valuable discovery about yourself and it will yet have a significant impact on your future quality of life.
we will find people doing difficult things. Sporting enthusiasts, pushing themselves to the very limit of their ability and endurance, seeking the pleasure of personal progress. Problem solvers and puzzle fans, stretching their brains in fresh ways. Creative artists striving to come up with new material. They will all be working hard, but largely they will be enjoying themselves in the process. To be successful in rising to your current challenge, you must see it from a perspective like this.
Pioneers and innovators often speak disdainfully of the 'middle of the road'. Those with 'mainstream' preferences in popular culture, or even in their general attitudes and expectations, are derided for being unadventurous. Yet just as there is a good reason why every cliche has become a cliche in the first place, there is sometimes a lot to be said for compromise and compliance with various social norms. What 'everyone else' seems to think is a 'perfectly good idea', quite possibly is a 'perfectly good idea' for you too.

But aren't we all being optimists simply by assuming that the contents are desirable? Is that a glass of beer or whisky? (If the latter, it is probably just as well to be half full). Does it contain fresh cold milk or has that now turned old, warm and curdled? There are some substances that most people would far prefer to have less of.
