When blind testing a medicine, in order to attain empirical proof of its efficacy, scientists will often test against a placebo, a simple sugar pill with no active ingredient. If the drug is reliable, it will perform measurably better than the substitute. What then does this tell us about placebos? They clearly have at least some tendency to work for some people, some of the time. Don't worry, about whether or not your faith in a particular solution is logical or well founded. Just nurture that faith and let it help you.
LIFE HAS A HABIT OF ACTING ON YOU,IF YOU FAILED TO ACT ON LIFE.SO DO NOT MISS A SINGLE CHANCE.
