If you want to put a nail into a wall, you need a hammer. A screwdriver just won't do the job. Not even if it is a top-named brand, made of forged and tempered steel, precision engineered for specialist requirements. It is still a screwdriver. It won't help with the nail! 
Although you could, I suppose, lend it to someone who needs one of those and happens to have a spare hammer. It is important not to be overly influenced by aspirations that have since become irrelevant or swayed by fears that need no longer apply. Yet caution can sometimes be taken too far. You may entitled to something of a wild time.Don't be too proud or you will make enemies. But if you are too humble, you may deter even your friends!
