If you respond to situations with anxiety, tension, worry, anger, frustration, disappointment etc. how will you be happy? ‘Happiness’ a way to have a positive life. Do not allow anything to affect you negatively. Do not harbour any regrets in your mind. Believe me, you're the only one who can affect your own happiness, but you should probably give up on the idea of absolute "control".Happiness is not a happening; it's a state of mind. You can have everything in the world and still be miserable. Or you can have relatively little and feel unbounded joy. Happiness comes from mastering the art of appreciating and consciously enjoying what you already have.In other words Happiness is not determined by what’s happening around you, but rather what’s happening inside you. This is a tricky situation because happiness isn’t just one state of being; it’s a mentality. There is no guide, no rules, no manual that will teach you how to live a “happy” life. The problem will arise when the expectations do not materialize. If you find that you are going out of your way much more than the people you surround yourself with, it may be time to make some adjustments.
“I am determined to be cheerful and happy in whatever situation I may find myself. For I have learned that the greater part of our misery or unhappiness is determined not by our circumstance but by our disposition.” – Martha Washington
