You can use Tamarind soaked in water to clean brass.Vinegar and salt is also used to clean brass and copper.Either one can make a mix of wheat flour,a tbs of salt and vinegar enough to make a paste.Use it with a towel or plastic scrubber on brass or copper to clean bass and copper.
