We all have a daily to-do list, even if we don't carry it on a piece of paper or program it into our smart phones. And even if we don't consult it as often as we feel we probably should, we use it to measure our success, feeling better if we have ticked items off, guilty if we have overlooked others. Wouldn't it make more sense to keep a 'not to-do list', full of all the things we were determined to avoid and ignore? we all have our inconsistencies. We should forgive ourselves, perhaps even celebrate these. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth.' So goes the old biblical phrase.
